New Dementia Club Launching in Fortrose This Autumn

Raddery House is delighted to announce the start of our Dementia Project.

Many of you will know our plans for the Raddery House site hit some difficulties along the way. But the need for dementia support, for individuals and their carers, is huge in our community, and we remain committed to our vision. This autumn we're launching a weekly club in Fortrose, the very first step on our journey towards a dedicated centre of excellence for the Black Isle.

There will be free lunch and refreshments, plus optional activities, but most of all a chance to meet and chat with others.

Come along and help shape the future of the club.

First meeting: Monday 28th September, 11.30am to 1pm

Venue: Fortrose Free Church

The club will follow the ethos of the very successful Meeting Centres Scotland, who promote inclusion and an activity-based approach. We've been working with them for three years, and they'll continue to support us as the centre grows. The club is aimed particularly at those living with very early or early dementia, and those with simple age-related memory problems, but carers, friends and supporters are just as welcome. Everyone from the Black Isle is invited.
